Luke Rahbari, Chief Investment Officer
Mr. Rahbari has been involved in the financial industry since 1986 and has 15 years of experience trading equities, equity derivatives and structured products. Mr. Rahbari started trading on the CBOE in 1993 and became a large independent market maker, and later ran the largest specialist unit on the floor for LETCO Trading Co. After LETCO was acquired in 2002 by Toronto Dominion Bank (TD), Mr. Rahbari started the U.S. Institutional Equity Derivatives desk for TD, where he traded listed and OTC client flow as well as proprietary trading on U.S. markets. Luke is a well-recognized expert in the derivatives industry and has been widely quoted and featured in the WSJ, Reuters, Dow Jones wire, The Street.com, the Financial Times and Pensions and Investments. Mr. Rahbari holds an MBA from the University of Chicago.
Jason R. Sutherland, Managing Director of Legal & Operations
Mr. Sutherland was previously the Vice President of Legal Affairs for Peach Holdings, LLC where he concentrated on the creation of financing facilities, term securitizations and managed litigation efforts on a nationwide basis. Prior to that, he was employed at Powell, Goldstein, Fraser & Murphy, GMAC Commercial Mortgages and BellSouth Mobility. Mr. Sutherland received his B.A. from the University of Georgia - Athens, and his J.D. from the New England Law. He is currently a board and legal committee member of the National Association of Settlement Purchasers.
Olivier Mathey, Head of Risk Technology
Mr. Mathey was most recently responsible for risk managing the mortgage and CMO portfolio of HSBC's US subsidiary, Republic Bank. Prior to Republic Bank, Mr. Mathey was a Managing Director and co-head of commodities derivatives group at Bear Stearns where he focused on high-margin, specifically tailored structured transactions. Mr. Mathey holds a Ph.D. in Applied Physics and Nuclear Engineering from Columbia University.
Hakeem Adeniran, Senior Analyst
Mr. Adeniran has over 10 years experience in application development with various technologies. He previously worked for Toronto Dominion Bank responsible for developing their Real-Time Integrated Volatility System for electronic trading of stock and index options. Mr. Adeniran holds a MEng Chemical Engineering from University College London.
