That's always seemed an interesting theoretical possibility--a prominent politician just disappears from the scene, after blogs and tabloids dig up dirt on him, but nobody who relies on the Times, Post, network news or Mark Halperin has the faintest idea why. This news is huge, and yet its extremely likely that it will never be reported by the mainstream media. Edwards will simply be erased from history, as if he never existed.

There is a remarkable irony about this development, as once again, feminist supporters like Amanda Marcotte promise their undying love and support for a sexual predator and philanderer while spewing venom at stand-up guys like Mitt Romney (married nearly forty years to the same woman...).

Edwards is a narcissist--he can't help it, but once again we see the real dysfunction in his supporters.
