A new study supports the idea that super models flock together while individuals lacking the perfect face and body also stick together."Beautiful people marry beautiful people and less beautiful people marry less beautiful people," said Dan Ariely, a professor of behavioral economics at MIT's Program in Media Arts and Sciences and Sloan School of Management.
How to explain this then?

I personally know dozens of couples who could be describes as mismatched in the looks department. In most cases the woman is considerably more attractive than her husband, but the reverse is also fairly common.
I have beautiful sisters and a beautiful daughter and its been interesting to note that the guys that hit on them varied considerably in the looks department, but they all shared one common trait--confidence. Many men just don't have the mojo to pursue a truly beautiful woman, and I think for men at least, confidence rarely comes from the way they look.
