Ever heard the expression "pick your battles"? This is an extraordinarily poor choice of battles. Keep fighting ones like this and the GOP is going to get clubbed to death at the polls again.

Democrat delusions usually result in them predicting inevitable victory and going down to crashing defeat.
The SCHIP gambit is a transparent attempt at public manipulation in the Democrat tradition. It doesn't work--the public in on to this "we have to raise taxes to help the children"
If recent history has taught us anything, its that the public holds the party in power to account, not the loyal opposition. Democrats will get bashed for being a do nothing Congress. Republicans have nothing to lose by obstructionism--and don't you dare complain about it--you taught us everything we know.

Seth,
Democrats use the phrase “it’s for the children” as a wild card, trumping reasoned argument. If you haven’t noticed, a lot of people are starting to snicker when the phrase is trotted out for increasingly dubious enterprises. Taking money from my pocket to pay for someone else’s healthcare so they can dabble in commercial real estate and send their kids to private schools is one of those laughable moments.
Americans are compassionate not stupid.
If this video is as damaging to conservatives as you allege, you ought to post it on your web site.
