Looking for a shag, part 1

A Deputy Secretary of State gets fired for hiring a hooker (maybe, probably) with his own money. Why? If he'd had an affair that would have been better? Why is it anyone else's business - he's not running for election by brandishing his family. This is all familiar stuff. They say the cheapest sex is the sex you pay for, maybe not in this case.

Wait,Jeremy,...I'm tuning into the Republican Party Line...receiving,receiving...ok, apparently I'm supposed to point out that this fellow got chopped because ABC is trawling through the DC Madam's black book for Republicans among the 15,000 names, but it's ok to have oval sex in the Oral Office with employees for free. Did I get that right?

Meh...I'm no prude. This kind of partisan "action" isn't unique to either side. I'll grant you that it isn't likely that this guy was on the receiving end of some floozy while speaking on the phone with world leaders from the Oval Office so the whole scandal probably shouldn't amount to much.

mark adams:

There is NO scandal, only a vast left-wing conspiracy to get Delay, Gonzalez,Wolfowitz, this guy,Libby, Limbaugh and many others who are essentially innocent. But take down a swine like Saddam Hussein and you squeal. You blighters take trivia or nothing and shape it into smoky patterns which are hyperinterpreted and flat out lied about by your essentially nihilistic soulmates. They don't need a handbook, they drank the poison in their youth that lines them up in rows.

Aren't you getting a little over-dramatic? I'll reword the comment then:

...the whole trivia or nothing that has been shaped into smoky patterns and "hyperinterpreted" by the evil leftists shouldn't end up amounting to much.

Better?

mark adams:

A pity... it was a bait to get you to say that I'd said that you were parroting a party line and I'd say "so I did"....tho actually.....it is a vast nihilistic conspiracy...most liberals most of the time don't act from malevolence, but they lack the tragic view.

Anyway this guy's family life and reputation may be wrecked. Quite a big deal. Tho...I do have to admit that some may say that his role in furthering abstinence as part of the US Aids program may be a temptation to journalists.
